Acoustic bass, piano, drums, horns and percussion-- this band is modeled on the classic Latin Jazz bands of the '50s and '60s like Cal Tjader, Willie Bobo and Mongo Santamaria. Playing a mix of latin and jazz standards and what John calls "latinized pop"; taking popular top 10 hits from the '50s and '60s and giving them that latin groove that just invites you to dance! This band is on hiatus right now but could re-emerge at any time! (too many bands, too little time!)
